I just have to say the websites that the instructor gave us during the class tonight were so great. I cannot get over them. They would have been so handy to have last session, if not years ago. I love all of the information that is on the sites. Not only do they have great printables and worksheets that are free, but they also have lesson plans and unit plans to help.
Coming up with ideas for lessons and units can be the hardest part in getting started. These two websites will definitely help with that. I am so thankful we were shown these. These will help in all of my classes in the next year!
I have to agree with your discussion post. The websites that were shared with us are very useful. The readwritethink.org website will be very useful because they provide great unit or lesson plan ideas. Once you've find a unit lesson plan, you can use those ideas in your own unit lesson plan. I happy Dr. Steffes shared these because it would've been hard to produce a unit plan on my own.
ReplyDeleteAny help on lesson plans is great help! Last session there was some difficult moments and anything to take that stress off and help us figure these things out is amazing!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that these resources were helpful. I will take your advice and share them with 338 in the future.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the more resources the better. I feel a little conflicted in the use of someone else's work, as we have been told time and time again not to plagiarize in our educational paths. A lot of policies, awards, evaluations I have written in the Navy were totally plagiarized, and almost every time the leadership wanted it that way for a particular verbiage/writing style. Again, I am all about using the printables and activities, just feels a little odd of sorts.
