Frontloading

I plan on using frontloading quite a bit when I begin teaching.  Giving my students as much information at the beginning and before the lesson, is one of the best ways to insure that they are engaged and understand important pieces and parts of the lesson or unit.
If a student does not understand a part of the lesson, it can be detrimental to the child.  Giving your students as many tools and information to help them succeed is extremely important.

  1. The last thing we want for our students is for them to stress and zone out, and if they do not understand something this could very well happen.

I too will use frontloading activities. They help set up what is about to be taught. Sometimes students need information before they can learn a new concept or lesson. Frontloading provides just that.

  3. Front loading is a great way to prepare kids for what they are about to learn about. Also, using it before a lesson will most definitely keep them engaged throughout your lessons.
